In Spring 2019, I finally began to feel something of a sense of community in college. I was tremendously excited to be accepted as an Honors Peer Educator and begin preparation to help incoming Honors students in their transitions to UW. I also explored classes in the education department to feel out my thoughts on a potential minor. I absolutely loved English 302, one of my English major cores, largely due to an excellent professor. Finally, I took the Honors class Seattle: Reading and Writing the City and amused my classmates with my love of the city where I grew up and the stories that came out of it.
